Christmass Bliss

Cooking Christmas dinner

The most important meal of the year. That’s how it’s always thought of. There’s no surprise that it causes so much stress and anxiety in households throughout the world on what should be the most amazing day(s) of the year.

We’re not going to promise to remove all of the stress as that would be impossible. For Simon, the biggest stress comes from worrying about the potatoes being crispy. Jo’s biggest worries all boil down to timings. And Alice? Well, she wants it to be perfect- no pressure there then!

What can I do to relieve the stress?

Christmas TV seems to be filled with cooking programmes from various different chefs and d-list celebrities, all telling you different things and all of them promising that their way is the best way of doing it.

The simple truth is that there is no one perfect way, it’s what will work best for you. If you work late on Christmas Eve, prepping then just isn’t a viable option. If you have a tiny oven, cooking millions of side dishes that no one will end up eating isn’t sensible either.

It’s about what works for you, but hopefully our process will give you some ideas that you can then amend and mould to your own way of cooking this Christmas. That’s the beauty of Process Bliss, if the process isn’t quite right for you, edit the template and give feedback for next year or the next person. Simple!
