Christmass Bliss

Santa's prep list

Is there a better job out there than being Father Christmas? I’m saying no. Not only does he get most of the year off to hang out with the Elves, take Mrs Claus on holiday and generally enjoy life, but he also gets to deliver joy and happiness around the world.

Sure, being instantly recognised by most of the world’s population is going to hinder your holiday plans somewhat, and the few weeks of the year you have to work are quite intense, but that’s surely a small price to pay.

Organisation is the key

The biggest challenge of all though will be to ensure that everything is ready and nothing is missed. Imagine waiting all year for the big day, knowing it rests solely on your shoulders, and realising that you have forgotten something. Disaster.

Fortunately there is an answer. Using simple software like Process Bliss would mean that nothing could be forgotten ever again, and what’s more, could be improved year on year using your comments and feedback from the previous year- winning!

It couldn’t be easier for the big man SC to set up either. Create a ‘Christmas work’ template, get all the steps down in your process and schedule it every year for whenever he starts his preparation. I’m guessing he really kicks into gear around October time, giving himself a solid 10 weeks or so to prepare and get things ready.

The beauty of putting your process into Process Bliss, is that it can be shared with the rest of the Elves so they can check the template to ensure nothing is forgotten. You see, no process is ever 100% perfect every time, and expecting it to be so will only ever disappoint you. By getting your process written down and into Process Bliss, you can then begin to improve it.

Obviously Father Christmas wouldn’t use his real name to sign up for Process Bliss, but we’re hoping that one of our users is the big man so every boy and girl gets just what they want this year.
